Please change the name of the temple as Mundakkal Bhadrakali Shekthram (Not kondethu shekthram) this temple is belongs to Mundakkal Aasan's family. We have between 2500 to 4000 and above members all over India and abroad. This Aasan family one of the very famous family in the period of Deshinganadu Natturajiyam. Valiya Veedu was the tharavadu of mundakkal Aasan family. Last partition deed made eight thaivazhy. (I will give the names later). Most of the Valiya Veedu male members were soldiers of Desingadu they called as Aasan they were very famous for Kalaripayatu. Centuries back all over mundakkal area there was some historical names still existing the names with house name like Kottayadi (down the fort), Kottamala(fort Hill), Kottathazham (beneth the fort), Kottappuram (out side of fort), Kollantazhikom(residence of black-smith) and Puthukkala (re-sharpening of weapons) it means there was a fort and I am sure about some connections with the history of Disinganadu throug this names. Valiya Veedu area belongs to Udyamarthanda puram cherry, Mundakkal East. Kondethu is only a house name there is no temple for them. Kendeth house members are also included with Valiya Veedu Mundakkal Aasan & Kolleri Aasan families. Mundakkal Bhadrakali Shektram, Kalari Shekthram and Kavadikave these three places are belongs to Valiya Veedu mundakkal Aasan family members worshiping places.
